CND FALL 2019: TREASURED MOMENTS COLLECTION SHELLAC & VINYLUX
I do not want to talk about Fall beauty yet. But I make an exception for the new CND Fall 2019 Treasured Moments collection of Shellac and Vinylux nail shades because I'm already wearing two of them. CND recently held a Treasured Moments media day at Tips Nail Bar's newer location on Dundas West in Toronto, and I happily attended. Let's look at the bottles, though, before I show you my mani by lovely Iuliia Terekhova.
Right. You've already seen the bottles in the opening shot, but some are obscured.

CND Fall 2019 Vinylux Treasured Moments: Baby Smile, Secret Diary, Cap & Gown, B-Day Candle, First Love
If the itty-bitty type in the above cutline is as much a challenge for your poor eyes as it is for mine, here is the five-shade CND Fall 2019 Vinylux and Shellac Treasured Moments collection, with bigger labels. *grin*
My favourites are First Love, a vibrant oxblood red, Secret Diary, a vivid rich berry, and Cap & Gown, a stunning moss-tinged deep green. I almost chose that green for my Shellac manicure, but couldn't do that much Fall so soon. Next appointment!
For any art-y types, here are some inspirational images from the CND press material:
If my nails had been longer (tore one in the airport awaiting our flight back to Canada), I might have considered something like this mani using all the shades.
And, above, here's my pretty Shellac manicure by Iuliia (pronounced "you-lee-ya") Terekhova, who can be found at the Tips Nail Bar Dundas West location. Fun fact about Iuliia: she has an engineering degree! But her passion is nails. "I could do this all day," she said to me when I apologized for keeping her so long on my mani.

I elected to try Baby Smile — a peachy-nude shade I never thought I'd wear — as the base shade simply to increase the number of layers of Shellac as protection for my naturally weak nails. Otherwise, I'd have had a negative-space mani, with just CND First Love as the colour and Locket Love dots.
There's not much more to say about this 100% Fall nail palette. Oh! If you do your own soak-off manis at home, you might appreciate this next bit: CND Shellac now features the same paddle brush shape that Vinylux has.
CND Fall 2019 Vinylux and Shellac shades ($12.50 CAD suggested retail) are available at select salons* and retailers such as amazon.ca now.
Any of these shades catch your Fall fancy? Or is it too damn soon?
