QUO BY ORLY CASHMERE CRISIS #NOTD
I’m up. It’s snowing. I’m drinking coffee and thinking I might have a knack for this whole nail painting thing.
A bunch of days ago, a whack of Shoppers exclusive Quo by Orly shades landed on my desk. This morning, I picked one. Wanna see? Yeah, you do. I know you do.
Quo by Orly Cashmere Crisis (above). That’s 2 coats (no top) with one of the most consistently raggedy-ass brushes in all of Canadian drugstore polish brands. These Quo bottles always have garbage brushes and they know it. How do they know? Because I’ve told them – more than once.
Does it matter? Apparently not, because if you’re me, you can still precision-paint with a brush that looks like a wild dog chewed on it. If you’re not me, good luck with that.
Okay, so brush hurdles aside, Cashmere Crisis is pretty great all by itself. It’s a soft, dreamy, taupe-tastic neutral that probably looks fabulous on most digits. I like this shade – a lot. But still…
Quo by Orly Cashmere Crisis w Essence Sweet Memories Top Coat (above). I can’t help myself. It’s like a personal challenge to choose the exact right topper to slap on things.
Quo by Orly Cashmere Crisis w Essence Vintage Top – mattified (above). And then... mic drop.
