Now that sticky-weather season is here, I'm more likely to reach for a wash-off cleanser after using a micellar water to remove grime, makeup and sunscreen. One of those wash-offs is Bioderma Sensibio Mild Cleansing Foaming Gel, which is designed for sensitive skin.
Ordinarily, several passes of micellar cleanser (until the cotton pad comes away clean) followed by a thorough thermal water rinse works for me. Micellars are my format of choice because they're just less messy than splashing over my too-low, counter-less pedestal sink with its separate hot and cold spigots. But in everything-sticks-to-your-humid-skin weather, I like a little extra cleansing insurance via a rinse-off.
Yeah, many would call that "double cleansing." I just call it cleansing. *grin*
Bioderma Sensibio Mild Cleansing Foaming Gel (200mL/$19.90 CAD at beautyboutique.ca and $14.90 USD at dermstore.com) spins on a gentle biodegradable surfactant plus emollients and anti-inflammatory ingredients to cleanse without sucking the precious natural moisture from skin. It's also pH-balanced not to strip the skin, another factor in the mildness of the formula, and fragrance-free.
So many wins in this bottle! I'm officially a fan (no surprise; I love the oil body cleanser too). Bioderma Sensibio Foaming Gel makes my sometimes-sensitive skin feel fresh, soft and comfortable, not dry. I tried it in winter, too: two thumbs up.
What else is there to say? #allthewins
