Hi everyone! It’s meeeee! I know I’ve been absent lately but that’s really just because life things happen. When life things happen, my back goes out. When my back goes out… yeah. Thanks for stickin’ with me though – ya’ll are best!
Sinful Colors Haute Shine – Sinful Shine Step 1 (above). Today I’m at my desk with a bunch of Sinful Colors shades that were my very last purchase of 2017. Instead of buying things to swatch for Beautygeeks or Instagram, I bought these just for me. I know, right? How selfish, Karen! And then, after I was all “Yay, I'm so happy with these pretty colours I bought myself,” I figured maybe you’d like to see what Karen buys for herself as opposed to what Manigeek gets for you to see.
Sinful Colors Real Regal over Haute Shine (above). Karen is hugely drawn to purples and hot fuchsia things. She also really, really likes shimmery stuff that’s not crazy sparkly. And things she can layer? Those things give her #MegaGrabbyHands.
Sinful Colors Miss Majesty – 2 coats (above). And things that have shimmery, hiding flashies? Yeah, she’ll take those too!
Revlon Top Speed Black Magic – 1 coat (above). And you already know this is her favourite layering base of ever, right? I wonder what would happen if she slapped…
Sinful Colors Miss Majesty over Revlon Black Magic (above). I’m pretty sure I just won all the things! Whodathunk that would happen, huh? Nick was all "No. I don't believe" until I stuck Miss Majesty right up in his eyeballz and said "Yes! Lookit the green flash!"
Essence Cosmetics Play With My Mint (above). And now you’re wondering what this is doing in a Sinful Colors post… Well, it’s because JJ gave Cath a Sinful Colors #ArchiveAtrocities polish and then Cath gave it to me to give back to JJ. It’s still here on my desk ‘til JJ can make it over so I figured hey, why not leave it sitting in front of me until it speaks to me.
Sinful Colors Kanfetti over Essence Play With My Mint (above). And then it spoke! Once again, I’m calling myself a winner. I don’t care what anyone says, I think I made this Kanfetti look gooooood. And that’s only 1 coat of JJ's fug over da Mint!
OPI Tile Art to Warm Your Heart (above). Oh yeah, this is the blue from the OPI Lisbon collection – I was swatchin’ it and JJ’s Kanfetti was still lurking on mah desk so…
Sinful Colors Kanfetti over OPI Tile Art to Warm Your Heart (above). Huzzah! I win again! Suck it JJ! I crushed your atrocity! I win! Mwah ha haaaaaa!!!
Sinful Colors So Symbolic (above). It made me so insanely happy to pay $1.90 Canadian for these shades. In fact, just looking at this 2-coater here, I still smile like a dork. Why? Because they’re good, solid nail polishes that go on easily and have fun finishes. The price is just an awesome bonus.
Sinful Colors Karnival (above). I do crazy-thin coats and usually only do 2. I should have done 3 here or maybe just 2 thicker ones. Don’t care though – still love it. I mean come on, lookit that stealthy shimmer! Squeeee!!
Sinful Colors Mystique - 2 coats (above). It’s like Sinful knows exactly what to make for me and I don’t even know why that surprises me. Ya’ll know Sinful is Revlon, right? Well, they are. And if you already forgot, Revlon makes…
Sinful Colors Mystique over Revlon Black Magic (above). Yeah!!!!! Mystique over Black Magic just kinda cements the fact that Karen wins all the layering things so that Manigeek can sit back and take all the credit.
And that’s it - my very last purchase of 2017 and they were a mere $1.90 CAD each. Where? Here – it’s where I also get my Black Magic and my Revlon QDTC. If you go shoppin’ there, you best be sure to tag me on the IG so I can see what inexpensive pretties you buy too, ya?
Now let's talk about how much we love this Sinful Colors brand of polish and how great it is for this price point! Me? I'm a long-time fan. You?
