WHAT WOULD YOUR SIGNATURE PIECE BE?

This week's Lipstick League question reminds me of that time I was asked to collaborate on a makeup thing...

Waaaaay back in 2009 or so, MAC asked me to participate in their first-ever blogger collaboration. The idea isn't new now, but back then, a makeup brand and a handful of bloggers partnering to create a coloured cosmetic each hadn't really been done. So MAC was very hush-hush about it initially – I was asked to agree to participate without knowing what the project was.

You want to know what I did with MAC? Nothing. Nope. In a stunningly over-cautious move, I declined the offer because I didn't feel comfortable agreeing blindly to participate in a mystery. Whoops.

I think about that every once in a while, and although I mentally roll my eyes at my decision, I admit too that I still don't really know what I'd have chosen to represent Beautygeeks. And I can guarantee I'd still be second-guessing myself. *grin*

This week the Lipstick League wants to know what your signature piece would be if you were to create your own makeup collection.

If I were to create my own collection now, my signature item would very likely be some version of a multi-purpose eyes/cheek/lip stick or balm, something conditioning that glides comfortably over lips and keeps them soft as it delivers a youthful sheen, that adds a natural flush and highlight to cheeks, and that delivers a flattering tint on lids without feeling sticky.

I'm mulling names now... Cab Face? Backseat Beauty? On The Move? Stop Light?
