Hiya nail nerd friends! It’s me! With more Great Lakes Lacquers! These are September 2017 limited editions. There are 3 shades, each named for one of the three little water-lovers in Mariah’s life; two daughters + her BFF’s kidlet.

I could write my own descriptors (which I’m famously not amazing at) or, I can just tell you what Mariah says about these pretties. Yes, that’s what I’ll do!
Great Lakes Lacquer Bristol – September 2017 LE (above). Bristol is the spitfire. Her polish is a rich deep teal shot through with red, gold, green shifting shimmer and a scattering of holo. Indoors under natural light, she’s deep, deep water.
Great Lakes Lacquer Bristol w side salad (above). When I put Bristol over a bed of greens, on account of her teal-y-ness, she turns into the ocean cosmos (as opposed to the night-sky cosmos). She’s very mysterious.
Great Lakes Lacquer Helena – September 2017 LE (above). It’s Helena, the leader. Inside at my desk, she shows like a lit-from-within kind of glowy emerald.

Great Lakes Lacquer Sophia – September 2017 LE (above). Sophia is the healer and most adaptable. Her polish is a blue-leaning teal filled with glowing blue-to-purple shifting shimmer and scattered holo.

Oh! I almost forgot! How many coats? You might be able to get away with 2 but I needed maximum saturation for photo-takin’, so these are all 3 coats + my Revlon QDTC.
I tell ya what, Mariah sho nuff can make a teal! She’s like a teal-y magician!
Availability: September 2017 limited editions are available now until October 2. They’ll run you $30 for the set or $11 each. Mariah says “buy your favourite or buy them all!” Ha! And she’ll have some with her in Chicago this weekend, so if you’ve got a Polish Con ticket, you know what to do. You saw the GLL Polish Con 2017 limiteds, right?
