Hoooo boy! I gots amazeballz September 2017 Pahlish polishes to show you and they’ve only just been released! You’d better get in here quick because I have a feeling some of ‘em are gonna sell out fast. Like, faaaast.
To try and show them to you in all their glory, where necessary I took pictures with grass and without. Interestingly, indie polishes often look vastly different when the light sources change so I want you to see what they’ll look like on your digits when you’re inside or not.
pahlish orphan black duo swatches
First up, a pretty, pretty duo that will probably speak to many of you. I don't know from Orphan Black but these 2 shades are fairly screamin' at me!
Pahlish Castor (above). That’s 2 coats with my Revlon top coat. My notes say “shoulda been a Chanel.” Why? Because there’s a massive amount of crazy sophistication smushed into this seemingly simple olive green. If you’re partial to shades like these (or luxury polishes), here’s your Castor link before it sells the heck out.
Pahlish Leda (above). 2 coats (with top) inside at my desk get me this almost foil-y, almost pinky-black beautiful thing. I can’t explain what it is about it that strikes my fancy but it does.
Pahlish Leda w Side Salad (above). With a side of grass, she pops all the multicoloured fleckies and the base totally shows black instead of pinky. My brainz might have just exploded.

Pahlish Hypnos no top coat (above). Sometimes Nick is home when I paint and when I was swatchin’ this, I said out loud “Oooh, that’s really pretty!” Nick was all “That must be something - I hardly ever hear you say that.” Need I say more?
Pahlish Hypnos w top coat (above). Seriously? Like how, Shannon? How do you make such dreamy dreams?
Pahlish Hypnos w side of grass (above). That’s 2 coats with top and see what I mean about it looking vastly different when light changes? Lookit that crazy shimmer! Gah!
Pahlish Pumpkin Carriage (above). Oh! Hello Fall, you’re very rusty pumpkin in 2 quick coats with top.
Pahlish Pumpkin Carriage w side salad (above). And with some grass, you’re holo-y and somewhat bewitchingly perfect for Halloween!
Pahlish Equinox (above). Words? Yeah, I gots none. Ya’ll already know how much I loves a saturated shifter.
Pahlish Equinox w side grass (above). And a shifter with holo fleckies? Get out!!
Pahlish U-Pick (above). This blackberry beauty that’s stuffed with all kinds of magic just blows my mind. I’m not generally a fan of things that look complicated but once you get this stuff out onto the nail (in 2 coats + top), it just looks tidy and special. I seriously can’t wrap my tiny polish mind around some of these shades. How they come out lookin’ like they do is beyond me.
Pahlish U-Pick with side grass (above). And hit with a whack more light, she’s turns all kinds of blackberry jelly with holo bits and crazy shifting flakies. Like, whuuuut??
Pahlish Wavelength (above). Ultramarine blue lovers rejoice! This is the polish you’ve been hoping someone would make for you! It’s here! It’s finally here! Inside at my desk, it’s a vibrant galaxy.
Pahlish Wavelength with side salad (above). When it’s punched in the face with light, it’s a whole different kind of universe. There’s shimmer in there, there’s holo in there, and there are flecky flakies in there. It’s just an amazeballz kind of in-your-face kind of blue.
And that’s September 2017 Pahlish! It’s not that often I go through full collections and don’t have to fight with formulas, brushes or boredom so this release brought me nuthin’ but smiles. Some of the shades simply scrambled my brains and left me sitting here with big huge heart eyes.
So? What about you? Anything there grab you by the wallet? Huh? Let’s chat! Then let’s shop Pahlish!
