Challenge? Ppfft. So far, it's just toooo easy! This week I not only used these 7 untried shades of polish, I also did you up the swatches and review of the China Glaze Fall 2017 Street Regal Collection. I'm an untried-using machine!
#1000DaysOfUntrieds Week 3
Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Proper P-rose (above and below). She's from the Fall 2017 Collection that I hope to have up sometime next week!
Oh yeah, and I done swatched the whole Essie Fall 2017 collection for you this week too!
Creative Play Skymazing (above). I like this one a lot when it's on a bed of salad. There's a super-stealth shimmer in there that only comes out to play if you smack it in the face with a whole bunch of light.
Ms Sparkle Interlude Blue (above). Oooh! A matte glitter! I scored this one at Indie Expo Canada and it's been staring at me for a good coupla months. I really dig that fine pinky shimmer with the bright turquoise confetti bits. There's just something about that combination of colours that totally floats my goat.
Ms Sparkle Interlude Blue with Top (above). For me, top coat sorta takes away from the interestingness of it. I think if it was glossy right out of the bottle, I'da mattified it. Yep. I think I woulda.
Kiko Peony Pink 251 (above). Angela brought this over an ocean, and I love her for it. This right here is right smack in the middle of my #GrabbyHands wheelhouse. It took me 3 thin coats to get what you see there and there's no top.
Kiko Peony Pink 251 with salad (above). Lookit how shiny it is! Lookit all that crazy eye-searing blue flash! Gah!
China Glaze Fairy Dust over Kiko Peony Pink 251 (above). Yes, Fairy Dust. I put that sh*t on errrrrything! Why? Why the heck not?
Girly Bits Dead Man's Toe (above). Unnnhhh. So good. So so good. That's 2 very quick coats and if you can get your eyeballz right up on it, you can see a pinky-gold super-fine shimmer in this satin matte finish. I love it. It's perfection.
Girly Bits Dead Man's Toe w Top (above).
Me: Hey Nick! Check it out! It's called Dead Man's Toe and it totally matches your pants!
N: It does.
Me: Ya! Except your pants don't have super-fine pinky gold shimmerz. Sad for you."
N: And they never will.
Me: I love this colour!
N: Dead Man's Camel Toe?
Me: Yes, Nick. And I'll be sure to add that to my post when I write it up.
Girly Bits Dead Man's Toe on a bed of greens (above). Huzzah!! The toe + top coat + salad = shimmer pops! But I still like it matte the best.
Piggy Paint 6231 (above). This tiny little bottle is nail polish for kids! That's definitely not my usual pose and definitely not a kid hand but I had to make do with what was around. I tried this on myself but it doesn't stick to my gel base so I had to look far and wide to locate a Manigeek stunt double. I can't say who owns those piggies but I can say the cuticles are in surprisingly amazing condition considering that's Nick's large, uncared-for man hand.
He's the best. Also, he has no idea how to remove this odourless, non-toxic nail polish. So funny! He's scraping it off in the kitchen and muttering "I don't want to be one of those girls who picks at her polish on the subway." He could have just come over to my desk and I'd have taken it off for him.
See ya'll next week!
