Essence nail polish swatch spam? Okay! I mean why not, right? I have so many bottles of Essence polish, and every single time I go into Shoppers I keep looking for more. Just last week, I found another one to add to The Archives! Wheeeee!!
So this post is all about a whole bunch of Essence Nail Polishes that I haven't swatched for you yet. There are new colours, hard-to-get colours, and a bunch of top coats in here too!
essence the gel nail polish swatches
Essence Plump Power Nail Polish 72 (above). So yes, this is the newest addition to my Essence the Gel Nail Polish Archives. I found it last week. Weirdly, it doesn’t have one of those “new” stickers on it, but I’m 100% sure it’s new to Canada. I’m so in love with it. That’s 2 coats with no top. For less than $3, it makes my hands look like money!
Essence Miracle Stone Modern Matt 100 (above). She’s pulling a little lobster, but she’s still awfully lovely with her pink flecks in a dove grey matte. This one came to me via #AngelasAirMail and I’ve been waiting for a reason to use it! It’s one of those things that had it been a shiny formula, I’da mattified!
Essence Miracle Stone with Top Coat (above). And here, for your enjoyment, top coat! So lovely!
Essence The Gel My Hula Hoop 82 (above). I really can’t remember where I got this one, but I think I bought it online. You’re looking at that and wondering how many coats, right? It’s 2. I know – 2 coats for a super-whitened pink. I have no idea how Essence does it but they do.
Essence My Sparkling Darling over My Hula Hoop (above). Okay, maybe not my best layering thing of ever, but I had to see what happened, right? Now we both know. I’m going to try My Sparkling over something else later. But not today.
Essence You and Me? 56 (above). I can’t remember where I got this. I think I bought it from essencemakeup.ca when I also got myself a set of the Out of Space Stories. Shades like these really appeal to me – a little dusty and a lot soft and ladylike. (I know, me – ladylike – *snort).
Catrice Broken Glass Effect Top Coat over Essence You and Me? (above). Good grief that’s awesome! Usually you see flakies that shift, but this one is a straight cello and adds a whole bunch of magic without being complicated. It’s another gift from Angela and I’m keeping it right here on my desk so I can use it again and again!
Essence Pretty Cool Life Nail Polish 83 (above). I can’t even. I bought this one online because I got tired of waiting for it to show up at Shoppers. I’m SO glad I did, man. SO glad.
Essence Sweet Memories Vintage Top Coat over Pretty Cool Life (above). Seriously, THIS top coat. I love it hard. It’s another treasure from Angela and I’m keeping it forever. One coat is exactly the right flakie payoff for me. It’s almost like Essence knows what I need and puts it in a bottle just for me.
Essence Colour Boost Instant Match 11 (above). Another Essence bottle from #AngelasAirMail, but this one is from a line we don’t get here in Canada. A simple royal blue that says “1 coat & go,” but is really 2 coats for perfect coverage. Did I mind doing 2 coats? Nope. And I even added…
Essence Sweet Memories Vintage Top Coat over Instant Match (above). Come on! Are you kidding me with this top coat awesomeness? #KeepingItForever.
Essence Olive You 84 (above). This fab army olive green definitely came from Ang and is not available online in the US or Canada. I tried to find it on their essence.eu site, but failed. Boooo. Hey, at least I tried to source it for you, right?
Essence Sweet Memories Vintage Top over Olive You (above). I know. It’s perfection.
Whew! That’s like a lotta spamz! I hope you enjoyed your visit here today and I also hope it makes you rethink these inexpensive bottles of polish. After all, I’ve been a fan of Essence for as long as they’ve been here at Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada. Why? Um, brush, formula, price. Seriously, if you haven’t tried it yet, whatcha waiting for? Oh! And I’ve just discovered they’ve got a bunch of shades up on amazon.com for all you US peeps!
