This week the Lipstick League is digging into your beauty love life: what three skincare products do you adore right now?

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant, Rodan + Fields Active Hydration Serum and Neostrata Hydrating & Plumping 15% Hyaluronic Acid Sheet Mask

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant, Rodan+Fields Active Hydration Serum, Neostrata Hydrating & Plumping Sheet Mask with 15% Hyaluronic Acid

I have to confess a fairly newly discovered huge love for Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant ($29 CAD at and $22 USD at Usually it comes in a tube; I'm obsessed with a tub version that was probably a limited edition... and when I use it up, I'll replace it with a tube.

I love, love, love Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant mostly as lip balm – it feels comfortably emollient on lips for ages and ages. I quite like it as a skin balm too, on damp hands and arms. It doesn't sink in as fast as lotions, but I love how soft and plump it makes my skin feel. And in a pinch: it's a dewy-looking luminizer on along cheekbones and so forth.

I'm also in love with the Rodan + Fields Active Hydration Serum ($124 CAD at and $108 USD at, a glycerin-loaded formula that doesn't feel as heavy and sticky as it should, given the amount of glycerin in it. I'll explain more in another post, promise.

And I've a big beauty crush on the new Neostrata Hydrating & Plumping Sheet Mask ($8.50 at Canadian drugstores) – hello, 15% hyaluronic acid.
