Hiya friends! It’s been a little while since I’ve played in Chanel but now I’m back inside your screen and I’ve got swatches of Chanel’s Cruise Collection 2017 Vernis!
chanel cruise 2017 le vernis swatches
This collection of shades makes me smile. It’s uncomplicated, yet so very Chanel. There’s just a kind of casual ease about it. It’s not fussy, and doesn’t try to be anything other than it is: a huge nod to simple sophistication.
Chanel Coquillage 560 – Chanel Cruise 2017 (above). In 2 coats (no top) she reminds me of a whipped orange smoothie. Can’t just be me, can it?
Chanel Sea Whip 564 – Chanel Cruise 2017 (above). Chanel is calling this a “milky pink”. Okay, but I’m going to call it a milky peachy coral. Again, 2 coats and no top.
Chanel Coralium 552 – Chanel Cruise 2017 (above). How’s that for a shade that screams Chanel, huh? It totally does. It’s such a beautiful just-dusted coral in 2 coats.
Chanel Sargasso 558 – Chanel Cruise 2017 (above). There’s super-stealth shimmer in there. And when I say super-stealth, that means you can see it in the bottle, but it’s hugely invisible on the nail – unless you hit it with bright light from exactly the right direction. Mostly, it’s a deep charcoal grey just like this. Oh. 2 coats.
Chanel Sargasso 558 + Lamé Rouge Noir Top Coat (above). Wanna know why I did that? Because I can! Wheeeee!!!
Sadly, you can't get my Lamé Rouge Noir Top 'cause that was a limited edition. See? You should buy ALL the things for your Archives – you just never know when you're totally gonna neeeeed 'em!
