If you're still on the fence about acquiring a Charlotte Tilbury face palette, here's her newest to consider: the Instant Beauty Glow Palette. Think of it as a week-long luxury yacht vacation in a compact.
Or maybe think of Beauty Glow as a celebrity wedding in a compact – Charlotte Tilbury says this palette was "very much inspired" by the makeup she did on Kate Moss and Poppy Delevingne for their big days.
Or perhaps it's your red carpet in a compact: "I used it on Salma Hayek at the pre-Oscars party; I mixed it with the Dolce Vita palette on Emma Roberts, and I used it on Olivia Culpo too," says Charlotte. "It's a neutral colour palette, very natural colours that can go from day to night."
A particularly noteworthy point about the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Glow Palette ($85 CAD and $75 USD at nordstrom.com), is that the eye shadows and blush shades are unique to this compact – they don't exist anywhere else in the line. (The bronzer and highlighter are from her Filmstar Bronze & Glow light-to-medium duo.) Shades in both previous palettes, the Instant Face (her first and my go-to for every day and evenings too) and Seductive (mentioned at the end of this post), can be found in other eye shadow and blush compacts.
"The prime colour is this beautiful champagne that just plays with the light," says Charlotte of the eye shadow shades. "Then there's this bronzy rose gold, which looks really beautiful in the centre of the eye. The deepest shade is this warm mocha, a little bit darker than taupe. These are very soft, pretty flattering colours – they bring out the little lights in your eyes."
The Charlotte Tilbury Instant Beauty Glow Palette is designed flatter fair to medium skin tones. On deeper complexions, although the bronze shade might not serve as well as a bronzer (try it on lids instead), the eye shades and the highlighter would still look beautiful.
Oh look, here I am, a little bit backlit by late-afternoon sun and cozied up to always-glamorous Charlotte Tilbury. I snapped the second close-up shot in cooler lighting, at the window in my NYC hotel room after the media preview. Yep, I'm wearing the Instant Beauty Glow shades, plus Pillow Talk lipstick ($39 CAD and $34 USD at nordstrom.com), a now-permanent addition to the Matte Revolution lip colour range.
BTW, in Canada you can physically find the Instant Beauty Glow palette at the Charlotte Tilbury counter in Nordstrom stores.
So, you thinkin' 'bout the Beauty Glow palette? Or do you already have it? Or do you have any other Charlotte Tilbury palettes?
