OLIVIA CULPO'S LAVENDER SMOKY EYES
Well played, Olivia Culpo. The former Miss USA (2012) and actress (The Other Woman – she's the un-named mistress the three lead characters spot in the Bahamas) wisely gave makeup artist Sir John free reign for her Oscars 2017 red-carpet makeup. For me, out of all the gorgeous red-carpet makeup looks last night, this unexpected lavender smoky eye was the best.

L'Oréal Paris makeup maestro Sir John (he's known for his incredible work with Beyoncé by the way) used shades from the L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Pocket Palette in Violet Amour on Olivia's lids, and L'Oreal Paris Infallible Paints Eye Shadow in Shady Violet along her lower lash lines. To define her eyes, he lined them with dark pencil and enhanced her lashes with lots of black mascara.
He finished the look with a nude lip: Colour Riche Lip Liner in Au Naturale topped with Infallible Pro-Matte Gloss in Bare Attraction.
