Strobing or highlighting powder, stick, cream, liquid... so many options. I have several favourites, and not all of them are actually illuminators.

Vichy Teint Ideal Illuminating Roll-On

The Lipstick League is curious about what you're using to get your strobe on. What's your current go-to highlighter? If you don't have one, tell us about the last highlighter you purchased.

I have a few highlighting tricks I like to use, as well as a specific illuminator I've been using more than any other lately.

Clear lip balm is an amazing highlighter – sheen without sparkle. A tiny bit of moisturizer dabbed on with a fingertip works the same way. I've used both these professional makeup-artist tricks.

If you're a longtime reader, you know I like to use tinted lip balm or lip gloss as blush; tapped over my setting powder, those formulas give my cheeks a dewy finish that suffices as highlighter.

When it comes to actual highlighters, I'm crushing large on the new Nars Sculpting Multiple Duos. As well, I adore RMS Living Luminizer, Chantecaille Liquid Lumiere and Vichy Teint Ideal Illuminating Roll-On. You maybe caught that I did a sponsored thing for the release of the Vichy Teint Ideal makeup collection in Canada? I'm still using the illuminator on account it's so good. That, I guess, is my current go-to.

Vichy Teint Ideal Illuminating Roll-On comes in a teeny tube, so it's perfect for an on-the-go kit. A sheer, thin fluid, it blends over skin or foundation or powder brilliantly, and looks beautifully natural. Love. (You can see the love on my tube; the print is so worn from being in my makeup case!)

And no, this isn't a sponsored post. :-)
