Is separate SPF your thing? Or do you prefer skincare or makeup with sunscreen in it?

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch SPF 100+ sunscreen at Blue Lagoon, Iceland

I know, yet another sunscreen-related post! But it's not my fault! This week the Lipstick League has decided it needs to to know about your face-saving sunscreen habits. Do you typically use a moisturizer or foundation that contains UV filters? Or do you reach for a separate SPF? I'm also curious: what about hats?

Unless I'm actually spending time outside, I rely on my Laneige BB Cushion SPF 50. It takes me from my front door into an Uber, out to a destination door, and then down the block to a coffee shop after an event or a meeting.

If I'm spending time in direct sunlight, as I did at Blue Lagoon in Iceland a little bit ago, I coat my face and any other exposed skin in the highest SPF I can find. (I skipped doing a mask at Blue Lagoon because I worried about a proper SPF re-application afterward. No way I was going to come home from Iceland with a dumb sunburn.)

As for hats, I have them. Nice, very wide-brimmed hats. But they're beach hats, so I wear them oh-so-rarely. I'd like to change that, but can't figure out how to incorporate them into my wardrobe more often, never mind the hat-head business. *sigh*

Prime Beauty goes on a makeup play date at Sephora and reviews their new PLAY subscription box.
