THE BODY SHOP GETS CHEEKY WITH BRITISH ROSE + THE ROYALS SPOOF
My favourite is Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. She's spot-on in this cheeky new video The Body Shop has just released to promote their luscious new British Rose collection for Mother's Day.
In the video, it seems the Royal family is attempting, without the help of a Royal gardener, to gather a pretty bouquet of roses for Mum. Look-alike cameos include Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and Queen Elizabeth II. Oh, and the Royal corgis! Here, look:
The British Rose collection is The Body Shop's newest bath, body and fragrance line, formulated with organic roses grown and harvested in Herefordshire, England, exclusively for this collection.
Highlights include a gorgeous British Rose Exfoliating Gel Body Scrub ($22 CAd at thebodyshop.ca) that has real rose petals in the gel; a British Rose Instant Glow Body Essence ($21 CAd at thebodyshop.ca), which, like facial essences, adds a dose of extra hydration over which you can layer body lotion (this one adds a subtle iridescent gleam to the skin – love); and a divinely rich British Rose Instant Glow Body Butter (from $6 CAd at thebodyshop.ca). And there's The British Rose Eau de Toilette ($20 CAd at thebodyshop.ca), a lovely light and modern rose-petal scent.
Have you tried anything from The Body Shop's new British Rose line yet? And what do you think of the Royals spoof video?
Psst! Stay tuned – Beautygeeks is cooking something up with The Body Shop Canada and the new British Rose line!
