If you haven't got all your holiday gift shopping done, we're so not judging you. Let's help you instead, starting with great daily-treat options for the beauty junkies in your life. Unlike 24-day beauty advent calendars, these 12-day formats for 2015 are still in stock and generally available online. Get 'em fast, though – they won't be around much longer! Plus, worth noting if you have to factor in shipping time, the 12 days of Christmas start in just over a week from your next blink. Eek!
charlotte tilbury book of makeup magic
If you have a fancy-beauty addict on your gift list, you have to know the Charlotte Tilbury Book of Makeup Magic ($250 CAN at holtrenfrew.com and $200 US at bergdorfgoodman.com) is one of the most coveted luxury beauty advent calendars this season. Stocked with an array of Charlotte Tilbury heroes, it includes lipstick (a mini K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Penelope Pink and a full-sized Matte Revolution in Red Carpet Red), eye shadow (Nocturnal Cat Eyes in On The Prowl), and travel-size Goddess Skin Clay Mask, Wonderglow Soft-Focus Beauty Flash luminizer, Multi-Miracle Glow Cleanser Mask and Balm, and Take It All Off makeup remover (not sold in Canada yet, so that's a bonus).
Also a bonus: the Charlotte Tilbury Book of Makeup Magic includes a travel-size pot of Magic Night Cream, which launches officially in January 2016.
benefit party poppers beauty advent calendar
Releasing the Benefit Party Poppers Big 12 ($54 CAN at sephora.ca and $45 US at sephora.com) this year is a smart move on Benefit's part. I think last year's 24-day version, in an attempt to top the debut 24-day calendar the previous year, was a bit less-than-stellar – sticky notes? hair ties? no! A 12-day calendar – it's called the Benefit Party Popper 12 Days of Gorgeous in the US, by the way – offers more change-it-up flexibility from year to year, more opportunity to surprise the recipients. Know what I mean?
Or maybe you prefer the 24-day Benefit format so you can stock up on all the minis? Also, I can't believe I haven't once typed Party Poopers – except for this time. *grin*
lush 12 days of christmas

hard candy 12 days of beauty
An annual wallet-pleaser, the Hard Candy 12 Days of Beauty 2015 calendar ($9.95 CAN at walmart.ca) contains the following best-sellers: Walk the Line Liquid Liner, Fierce Effects Daring Lip Gloss, Sheer Envy Colour Correcting Primer, Take Me Out Eyeliner, Lash Tinsel Glitter Mascara (so you can do this pretty twinkle-lash look for parties!), Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer, two Eye Def Glitter Eye Shadows, two Glow All The Way Face and Body Luminizers, and two Plumping Serum Lip Glosses.
Hit the green text if you wanna see what's in the Hard Candy 12 Days of Beauty advent calendar. (I don't see it on the walmart.com site, but it must be available in the US as well, right?)
hard candy 12 days of nails
The Hard Candy 12 Days of Nails 2015 calendar ($9.95 CAN at walmart.ca; probs available in the US too) is pretty much all about glitter nail polish in mini-size bottles and Hard Candy's most popular shades. Here's a handy take-a-peek link to what's in this year's Hard Candy 12 Days of Nails.
How many of you are finished your holiday-gift shopping already? Did a beauty advent calendar make it into your purchases?
