OPI PARLEZ-VOUS OPI?

In 2008, OPI released the F/W La Collection de France and in it was this beautiful, smokey grey lilac. I had a bottle of it waaaay back then and stupidly, in a purge, I gave it away. I gave away 100's of bottles... Talk about dumb, huh?

It's taken me years to re-acquire a new bottle at a decent price. The price for this thing went through the roof and is currently running anywhere from $30-$50 USD on eBay. Did I pay that? Hellz, no! Would I pay that? Hellz, no!

How much did I pay for it? $8 CAD. That's like $6.50USD. I'da paid up to $12 (that's about how much a new bottle of OPI costs here). I flat out refuse to play the HTF and VHTF game. You won't catch me paying $50 for a bottle of old OPI. No way. No how.

I could tell you where I got it, but I won't. It's up to you to be patient and smart with your OPI Collector Dollars. When you score a brand new, never used 2008 stunner like Parlez-Vous OPI? for $8 (shipping included), you should pat yourself on the back, 'cause you done gooooood.

Oh, right - the review part... That's two coats, no top coat. The stuff is from 2008 and it still goes on like magic. Is it worth the $8 I paid? You betcha! Is it worth $50? Well, you decide!

You asked for 'em so here they are! I had to shoot on black (with natural light) to get the shades to show true. It's weird but completely accurate on my side of the screen. You can see Hello Hawaii Ya? is similar but not the same. Dupe-tastic? Nope, but if you're looking to get close, it's a good option that's on-counter right, right now.
