The Chanel Rouge Allure 2015 Collection is coming in October and you’ll want to keep your eyes peeled for the limited edition Le Vernis shades that are coming with. There are actually three but only two will be available in Canada so let’s look at the two, shall we?
chanel singuliere swatches & review
Chanel Singuliere (above) is a stunning burgundy red that screams fall. It can look like it’s full of blue or it can look like an almost deep purpley red. Either way, it’s really quite lovely and quintessentially Chanel.
Chanel Singuliere (above) goes on fairly splendidly in two simple coats. My swatches (as per usual) feature no top coat so you can see the shine that’s built into the polish. Top coat with Chanel polish is always a good idea to extend wear because yes, Chanel is notoriously chippy.
Chanel Le Vernis Singuliere 673 (above). Yes, she’s a little bit.. uh.. normal – but she’s still a Chanel and if that’s your thing, then you’ll be fairly pleased. I’m pleased because out of the roughly 50 bottles of Chanel I have, she doesn’t even come close to being dupe-tastic to any of ‘em.
Chanel Singuliere 673 (above). Nope, no stealth-shimmer hiding in there but that’s okay with me – I’m happy in the knowledge that in two coats, I can get this perfect fall/winter rouge.

chanel troublante swatches & review
Chanel Troublante 675 (above). Boy-Oh-Boy!! You’re looking at this thinking it’s a lovely shade for fall…
Chanel Troublante 675 (above). And you’d be correct. Better yet, it’s many shades all stuffed into one bottle.
Chanel Le Vernis Troublante (above). I’m just gonna put a lot of pictures here so you can see all of the shifty beauty that is Chanel Troublante 675.
Chanel Troublante 675 (above). I’ve fallen right into The Love.
Chanel Troublante 675 (above). Oh. Two coats. I know, surprising, right? Surprised me too – on the first coat I thought I’d need three but by the end of the second, it was pretty clear it just needed two. Would it benefit from undies? Nope – it’s too opaque in two, or too streaky in one.
Chanel Le Verins Troublante (above). There’s a bottle of China Glaze called Cabin Fever that I’ve seen swatches of online. It looks similar to Troublante, so I ordered Cabin Fever this morning and, when it comes in, I’ll do a comparison swatch for you!
Chanel Troublante (above). I don’t really have much more to say except that when I de-boxed this bottle, I actually squealed with delight. You can see why, right?
Chanel Le Vernis Singuliere and Chanel Le Vernis Troublante are part of the Chanel Rouge Allure Collection which launches October 2015. Both shades are Limited Edition so mark your calendars and start saving your Crunchy Cheetos dollars right, right now!
