We've touched on this topic before, when I posted a rundown of Gigi Hadid's makeup at the 2015 MuchMusic Video Awards. Now the Lipstick League is curious: how many makeup products do you use for an everyday face?
My everyday face – aka #cabface because usually I throw on my face in the back of a moving Uber – requires basics as follows: foundation, concealer, blot powder, black smudge-proof eyeliner, shimmery champagne eye pencil, mascara, brow marker, sculpting powder, cheek and lip colour. In the everyday face in this post, the number is nine.
The number swings mostly between eight and 10 because sometimes I skip foundation and what goes on my lips goes on my cheeks, too. Occasionally it's 11 because I have time to add highlight on my cheekbones, and 12 because I have time to use a coloured liner along my top lashlines (the black goes only on my inner upper rim). Wait, does lip balm count? I'm often already wearing it when my lip gloss goes on...
What about you?
