CHANEL FRAICHEUR 767
Chanel Fraicheur 767 is getting a lot of attention this summer. You know why? Uh, because it's lovely?
Chanel Le Vernis Fraicheur 767 (above). Sure, she's pretty. She's got that hidden shimmer you've come to expect from Chanel nail polish. Here, it's really hard to see unless you've got your fingers right up to your eyeballz. I captured a little teeny bit of it up there but really, not so much.
And in the shot above, zero invisible shimmer. Harumph.
I'll tell you what, though. I've used this shade a bunch of times and each time, it's been 3 coats to get to my preferred level of opacity. It's still patchy in two so it needs a third. After the second, let it sit for about 5 minutes before you do the last coat or you'll pull up all the coats beneath. How do I know? Yeah... I did that.
Chanel Fraicheur 767 ($31 at Hudson's Bay and $27 at nordstrom.com) reflects light back at you so depending if you're in daylight or office light, she can look more sunshine green or pastel. Either way, she's lovely. A pain in the butt to get on perfectly, but still lovely. I have nuthin' else like her in my entire Archives.
Would I buy it? Well, I kinda gotta because I'm building The Archives. Should you? Mmm.. three coats isn't fun so I'll leave it for you to decide.
