So it’s Monday and I just came off my 5 day/night work week. It was 100% not my intention to do a post today but these two Nails Inc shades came across my desk via Jennifer. You don’t know Jennifer and to protect her real identity, I’m just gonna call her Kim. She’s a regular customer at work and oftentimes, we chat polish. She has lots and was kind enough to let me borrow a whack of ‘em for a project I’m working on.
She chucked in a couple Nails Inc Gel Effect Polish shades because I’ve never played in 'em. They were on my desk this morning when I was looking around for something to slap up on my Instagram.
I started with this outstanding grapey-lilac Nails Inc Gel Effect Lexington Gardens (above) because it’s Spring. It’s amazeballz! It could more than likely have been a OCW!! but I did two coats. Shine, level, application, consistency, plasticized finish, brush… Gah! All so good! After using this one bottle, one time, I’m a fan.
Did I mention Kim lent me two shades? Yep, here’s the other. It’s Nails Inc New Oxford Street Gel Effect Polish (above) and it's also stupendous. Eggplanty brown and more for fall/winter than spring, but still… seriously amazeballz polish. I had to see if it was the same sort of greatness as the first shade and you know what? It is. You gotta try it – hopefully you'll be as blown away by these unassuming bottles as I was.
These two shades were limited-edition releases in 2014 I think. But not to worry – the current lineup of Nails Inc Gel Effect Shades ($17 each at sephora.ca and $15 each at sephora.com) is stunning. I gotta go now because I need to find my credit card and cash out my Sephora cart. Good thing they deliver and I don’t have to carry the stuff home – it’d be waaaaay too heavy. See ya’ll soon with more polish things! And hey, Happy Mani Monday!
