PLAYFUL CAMO ANIMAL-PRINT MANI TUTORIAL
Even more playful than the makeup at the Hayley Elsaesser Fall/Winter 2015 runway show at World Mastercard Fashion Week was the colourful manicure created by Essie lead artist Rita Remark. And in another spur-of-the-moment Beautygeeks video (I'm sorry, I didn't have my reading glasses!), Rita shows us how easy it is to copy the look.
"A cross between camouflage and animal print," the mani topped model fingertips in two variations: pink and blue, and orange and teal. The shades: Essie Mob Square + Essie Butler Please and Essie Meet Me at Sunset + Essie Naughty Nautical.

Rita applied two coats of the base shade, then on top created "random long blobs" she likened to fluffy clouds. The concept is a "perfectly imperfect" design, she said. No two nails identical.
If you're not a fan of either of these colour combinations, of course you can try this pattern with any shades you like. Rita suggests white and grey, or black and silver -- "you really can do it with any colours so long as they have a high contrast."
What do you think? Would you wear it? Maybe in pastel shades for Easter? I bet even our ManiGeek can do this art... *grin*
