KEIRA KNIGHLEY IN SUPER-SIMPLE MAKEUP
No one element stands out as anything particularly special in Keira Knightley's 2015 Oscars makeup. It's a look anyone could wear because it's Thursday. Right? Yet there's a subtle earthiness, something sultry in its muted tones. And it's a dead-easy look to recreate.
Nominated for Best Supporting Actress in The Imitation Game, mum-to-be Keira Knightley wore a dusty-nude floral gown by Valentino.
In her hair, the star wore a Chanel Fine Jewelry "Sunset" head jewel made of 18K white and pink gold and set with diamonds, Padparadscha sapphires, pink sapphires and pink opals.
On her right hand she wore a Chanel Padparadscha sapphire ring. Here's what makeup artist Kate Lee used to enhance her features:
- Kate prepped Keira's skin with Chanel Hydra Beauty Micro Serum.
- On Keira's skin she used Perfection Lumiere Velvet N12.
- On Keira's eyes she used Ombre Essentielle in Hasard and Mascara Le Volume de Chanel in Noir.
- On Keira's lips, Kate used Le Crayon Levres in Natural and Rouge Coco lipstick in Légende.
Keira is, of course, the face of Chanel Coco Mademoiselle and Rouge Coco -- for good reason. Whaddya think of her unexpectedly simple makeup? Red-carpet-worthy? Something you'd do -- or something you do already?
