LADY GAGA: GORGEOUS OSCARS 2015 MAKEUP
Lady Gaga knocked the 2015 Oscars audience on its collective arse with her incredible tribute to The Sound of Music and Julie Andrews on Feb 22, 2014. Let's mark that as a major highlight in Gaga's career -- she's probably still floating after her warm, emotional hug with Andrews on stage. And it's not that we don't know Gaga can sing -- that performance was magic. Her makeup, by celebrity artist Sarah Tanno, was magical too.

Lady Gaga's Azzedine Alaia gown was the result of 1600 hours of embroidery and 25 pairs of skilled hands in Paris. Some people made fun of the red gloves she wore...
- for Lady Gaga's flawless skin, Sarah used new NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation ($48 at sephora.com)
- Anastasia got a shout-out from Sarah via Instagram for Gaga's beautifully shaped brows
- that gorgeous shimmering pink eyeshadow was NARS Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow in Callisto ($29 at sephora.com)
- that stunning lip was NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dragon Girl ($25 at sephora.com) topped with gloss
At the Vanity Fair post-Academy Awards 2015 shindig, Gaga cast off that shimmering white magic in favour of its dramatic opposite, and wore NARS Velvet Lip Liner in Anse Soleil ($24 at sephora.com) and NARS Audacious Lipstick in Bette ($32 at sephora.com).

Lady Gaga performs her brilliant tribute to The Sound of Music at the 2015 Oscars; I geek out about her pretty eyeshadow
Bravo, Lady Gaga. You rule. (And I'm still geeking out about that beautiful makeup -- that eyeshadow is gorgeous.) Did you see her sing??
