Fresh is one of the most giftable brands if you're shopping for me. Let's have a look at my Fresh wishlist the Fresh Holiday 2014 lineup hitting Sephora right now.
fresh holiday 2014 gift ideas
I think the US price on the Sephora site is wrong, but whatever. Fresh does such nice skincare. Attractive packaging, lovely textures, fresh and light scents -- this is the kind of skincare that easily complements a prescription-Retin-A-and-glycolic-acid regimen. This Fresh Skincare All-Stars set includes a gentle Soy Face Cleanser; hydrating Rose Face Mask (infused with rose petals); Lotus Youth Preserver Face Cream (promises to keep skin soft, supple and radiant with lotus flower, blue-green algae, hibiscus fruit, fig and maca root extracts, vitamins C and E and vegetable glycerol); refreshing and de-puffing Lotus Eye Gel; and a full-sized Fresh Sugar Rosé Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15, which softens and plumps lips and imparts a sweet, universally flattering rosy sheen.
This lovely set of face care is for Spa Sundays, those early evening appointments you'll want to make with yourself every week for a little skin TLC. Start with the Sugar Face Polish, which buffs away dry patches with brown sugar crystals, strawberry seeds and enlivening natural citrus oils, then follow with either the soothing Rose Face Mask, or the antioxidant-rich Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask, or the Peony Brightening Night Treatment Mask, which contains licorice root extract, Vitamin C glucoside to fade brown spots. Note how I'm assuming you'll want to buy this for yourself, or ask someone to get it for you.
Think of this kit as a must for happy winter lips. The Fresh Dare to Bare Lip Ritual set comes with three lip treatments, a full-sized Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy balm as shown above left, and a full-sized Fresh Sugar Rosé Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15 (not shown), as well as a Fresh Sugar Shine Lip Treatment that gives lips a just-better-than-natural gloss. I buff my lips with a hot damp washcloth or Shiseido cotton pad rather than mess with lip scrubs, but this Fresh Sugar Lip Polish is welcome treat because I love the citrussy scent -- it's sweet, but not in that sickly, cloying, dessert way that usually sends me running from a room. And oh how I love Fresh Sugar Lip Serum Advanced Therapy -- wear it overnight under a Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment balm and wake up with wonderfully pillowy lips.
A mini Fresh Sugar Ruby Tinted Lip Treatment -- the newest Fresh Sugar tinted lip balm shade -- plus a mini Fresh Sugar Shine Lip Treatment barely-there shade that softens as it amps up shine. Easy stocking stuffer, or a really nice little gift when you're trying not to be extravagant. It's also a gateway to addiction. *shrug*
The original no-tint Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment is my favourite bedtime balm, and a favourite overall because I can slather it on without worrying about colouring inside the lines. Fresh Sugar Berry Tinted Lip Treatment and Fresh Sugar Cherry Tinted Lip Treatment are pretty, transparent shades that can be applied lightly for a soft tint or more generously for a pop of colour. I can't remember whether these are minis or not, but Sephora lists them as .07 oz sizes... minis.
This gift set is the best starter for anyone still unfamiliar with Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment balms. That said, if Santa were to bring me every single one of these Fresh Sugar lip sets, I'd be thrilled. Don't make me choose. Fresh Sweet Nudes includes the delicious Fresh Sugar Lip Polish and four mini balms, three of which give lips just a suggestion of healthy colour: Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment, Fresh Sugar Honey Tinted Lip Treatment, Fresh Sugar Rosé Tinted Lip Treatment and Fresh Sugar Petal Tinted Lip Treatment.
Santa, when I wrote "every single one of these Fresh Sugar lip sets," I meant this one too. This Fresh Sugar Legends collection consists of seven mini Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment balms: Sugar Berry Tinted Lip Treatment (flirty berry); Sugar Passion Tinted Lip Treatment (sheer, vibrant rouge); Sugar Cherry Tinted Lip Treatment (sheer sunny red); Sugar Honey Tinted Lip Treatment (warm nude); Sugar Rosé Tinted Lip Treatment (sheer rose); Sugar Tuliip Tinted Lip Treatment (sheer hot pink); and Sugar Petal Tinted Lip Treatment (pink blossom).
I love beauty tree ornaments! How could I not? (Philosophy, Bliss and Sephora brand does them too.) The Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment Ornament ($26 each at sehora.ca) features the full-sized untinted balm, which I think everyone needs. It's a little finicky because the formula is softer than most stick balms, and the metal case makes it more vulnerable to heat (don't keep it in your back pocket and never leave it in your car in hot weather). But it's so good. New this year is the Fresh Seaberry Moisturizing Face Oil Ornament ($22 at sephora.ca and click here for sephora.com). A blend of oils that includes sea buckthorn and is rich in omegas 3, 6, 7 and 9, all of which help skin flip winter the bird. Also available is the Fresh Fresh Fix Ornament ($23 at sephora.ca and $19.50 at sephora.com), which consists of a little tube of Soy Face Cleanser and a mini Fresh Sugar Advanced Lip Treatment balm.
These Fresh Sugar Shine Lip Treatments in Cherry, Honey and Rose ($22 at sephora.ca and $18.50 at sephora.com) aren't technically part of the Fresh Holiday 2014 lineup, but they're just as giftable. Don't mistake them for ordinary lip gloss. Made with hyaluronic acid, sugar, grapeseed oil and natural butters, they condition as they add a bit of colour and a lot of shine.
Let's also talk about Fresh fragrances for a little minute. A favourite is still Fresh Sugar Lemon ($56 at sephora.ca and $48 at sephora.com) one of the few girly scents I can wear without it turning sickly sweet, although it's a sweet-ish fragrance to begin with. I gush about Fresh Sugar Lemon here. Another Fresh scent favourite that plays nice with my chemistry, is Fresh Citron de Vigne ($56 at sephora.ca and $48 at sephora.com) a zippy citrus. Fresh Life (bottle and rollerball duo $62 at sephora.ca and $62 at sephora.com) is the newest, a light, airy scent evocative of a misty, sunlit morning and dewy grass by the lake. Easy to wear and approachable.
And of course Fresh scented candles are genius gifts for anyone who loves candles and at any time of the year. Sign me up for Fresh Sugar (again, this is the only sugar scent I can handle thanks to its citrus notes), and Fresh Sugar Lemon, of course, and Fresh Life, but I swoon most over the Fresh Hesperides Grapefruit Scented Candle ($66 at sephora.ca and $55 at sephora.com).
Well, this is my Fresh holiday shopping list for Santa (it also includes this Fresh Sugar Dream gift set, $61 at sephora.ca and $52 at sephora.com, and pretty much every beautifully wrapped Fresh Soap, $18 at sephora.ca and $15 at sephora.com).
Some of these are already up on the Sephora website. Anything here on your list too?
