Meet the star product of the Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess 2014 Summer collection. This is the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Nudes Eyeshadow Palette, and it's wow. The lineup includes a gorgeous Bronze Goddess Cheek Glow, too, as well as lip pencils, powder and liquid bronzer, body splash, shimmer oil and whipped body creme. But it's really about this versatile palette.

The Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Nudes Eye Shadow Palette ($65) is different for the brand, which usually offers up a shiny gold-tone compact of five colour-saturated shades.
This one however, is a combination of five matte nudes and three intense metallics, and it's wow. (I'd use these mattes for brows, too.)
These high-shine metallics are gorgeous, aren't they? They can be used wet or dry. The palette's applicator has a brush on one end and a sponge-tip on the other. A sponge applicator deposits a higher concentration of shadow than a brush does. If you're wary of metallics because they're so shimmer-shiny, use the mattes on the lid and in the crease and blend up, then use the sponge tip to dab any of the three metallics in the centre of the lid. Consider, too, using them wet along your waterline as liner. The shadows are all fragrance-free and dermatologist- and opthalmologist-tested.

The packaging for the limited-edition Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess 2014 Summer collection looks great on the cheek glow and the bronzer. In shiny cardboard for the Nudes Eye Shadow Palette it's -- well, it's cardboard.
The Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Cheek Glow ($34) is a creamy warm coral with the faintest hint of shimmer.
Cheek Glow blended on cheeks after bronzer mimics the sunburned cheeks you accidentally got when your Grade 13 class took grad-day-afternoon off for a picnic that may or may not have involved a vodka-injected watermelon, which of course you declined.
Nice compact, see? The Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess 2014 Powder Bronzer ($40) is available in four shades, Light, Medium, Medium Deep and Deep.
Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Pure Color LipShine in Mandarine and Luscious Plum ($26 each); Estee Lauder Sumptuous Waterproof Mascara in Black ($27). There is also an Estee Lauder Extreme Waterproof Mascara in Extreme Black ($28.50). At the moment I don't know what the difference between these two mascaras is except the $1.50 bump in price that goes with the word Extreme.
The beachy Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche Skinscent ($68/100mL), Bronze Goddess Body Splash ($90/240 mL), Bronze Goddess Shimmering Body Oil Spray ($45/50mL) and Bronze Goddess Whipped Body Creme ($50/200mL) are available now at Hudson's Bay, Sears, Holt Renfrew and esteelauder.ca.
The Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess 2014 makeup collection comes out in April.
