Lipstick Diary: What I Wore That Day
Lipstick who? Gloss-like colour keeps distracting me. This time it's L'Oreal Color Riche Extraordinaire liquid lipstick, and if you don't already have four or five of them, catch up already. They're one of the least expensive ways to take five years off your face (that's a tip for those of us in the 40+ club).

If you want to look about five years younger, put on a pink lip gloss. Truth. And that's not a new trick.
What's new is what a gloss format can deliver now: light, non-sticky, hydrating, pigmented, demi-sheer shiny finishes in a wider range of fresh, young shades. And all without hurting your budget.
Have you noticed how much prettier lip colour has become in the last few years? Pink, schmink -- go bright, I say. That said, half the rewind power of gloss is in the shine, so softer hues will still do the look-younger trick.
L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Extraordinaire ($11.99 each via well.ca) is one of the most recent lineups of juicy liquid colour.
Billing itself as liquid lipstick instead of gloss, L'Oreal Colour Riche Extraordinaire ($11.99 each via well.ca) has more pigment than a gloss you'd put over lipstick (although you can still do that if you want to), and less than a full-coverage formula. It's a bit more than sheer.

I've swatched my favourites of the L'Oreal Color Riche Extraordinaire shades I have at the moment. See? Colour.
Honestly, each day I have trouble choosing which one I want to wear.
Today it was a contest between Pink Tremelo and Coral Encore -- Coral Encore won. But both are in my bag. Rouge Allegro, though, could be tomorrow. Unless Pink Tremelo wins tomorrow. Oy.
And I still need the two shades I know I will love most: 106 Fuchsia Orchestra and 300 Orange Tempo. Stay tuned.
How many of these L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Extraordinaire liquid lipsticks do you have? Do I need a 12-step program if I only have 10 so far?
L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Extraordinaire comes in 15 shades ($11.99 each via well.ca) and is available at drugstores and mass retailers too.
