You heart super-shiny nails? You heart satin-finish nails? You heart nail art? You'll probably heart the Sally Hansen January 2014 collection and really love the Sally Hansen February 2014 launches too. Mark your calendar for Sally Hansen Triple-Shine, Sally Hansen Satin Glam, and Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art polishes, neons, pens, stripers (as in things to make stripes), embellishment kits and a mini nail-art tool kit. Let's look.
Sally Hansen January 2014
Sally Hansen Triple Shine is about -- you guessed it -- shine. The formula contains an exclusive "Ultimate Shield Complex" of Pro-Vitamin B5, Vitamin E, sea kelp and panthenol, and promises durable high-gloss, glass-like shine. It also contains something called "Guanine," a natural crushed pearl.
The Sally Hansen Triple Shine Top Coat contains the same ingredients as the polishes, plus vinyl polymers that make the finish flexible and strong as well as hyper shiny.
The Sally Hansen Triple Shine ($6.95 each) lineup consists of 29 shades in three finishes. Iridescence includes pearlescent and metallic shades; Pop is a range of vibrant brights; Fanta-Sea is an array of glittering sea-inspired tones. (Click on the image to enlarge.) The collection launches officially in January, but some drugstores already have the collection. The official word is that not all locations that carry Sally Hansen have the collection yet; it'll be everywhere in the new year.

Sally Hansen Satin Glam ($7.95 each) consists of rich metallic and matte shades that dry to a satin-sheets finish. Simple. And pretty. The formula contains finely crushed pearl.

Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art is a whole new category of nail fun from Sally Hansen. Let's start with the Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art Striper polishes ($4.95 each). Ten trendy shades are all about fine lines, or whatever other details you'd like to create with a super-thin brush and a bunch of fun colours.
There's Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art Striper Neon ($4.95 each), too, which consists of another 10 crazy-bright shades.
Wanna draw on your nails? Like this awesome notebook mani created by Sally Hansen nail expert Melissa Forrest? She used gel polish for the lined-paper base, and a new Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art thing to write on each nail. (Coolest part: Mara can wipe the surface off and write something new on each nail as she likes.)
The Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art Pen ($6.95 each) is a completely new redesign of the nail-art pens the brand released several years ago. Fine-tipped and much more slender and easier to hold, the water-based markers come in 15 fun shades, as well as a black and a white round-tipped version.
Mini tools! The Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art Tool Kit ($5.95) consists of a dual ended dotting tool, a detail brush and a striping brush, as well as a stencil with 10 designs.
Here you can see the skinny-tip brush from the Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art Striper polish, as well as the trio of tools in the Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art Tool Kit. The size of the tools make them really easy to handle.
This shot shows you the size of each end of the dotting tool.
No Nail Art collection would be complete with all manner of light-catching, attention-grabbing embellishments. So the Sally Hansen February 2014 launches will also include four Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art Embellishment Kits ($5.95 each). Studs, fringes, beads and glitter for all.
Each Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art Embellishment Kit contains three tubes of fun stuff; the kit includes this clever lid to control the flow.
Sally Hansen Sugar Shimmer ($7.95 each) is a set of six polishes with a 3-D gold-shimmer + sugar-crystal finish. Think of them as "Sugar Coat 2.0," a next-gen version of similar polishes that launched as a limited, test edition this past July (see Sugar Coat details here at NouveauCheap.com). Tweaked with added shimmer and texture, the new core collection of Sally Hansen Sugar Shimmer consist of Work of Tart, Mint Tint, Berried Under, Sugar Cloud, Sugar Plum and Cinny Sweet, and launches in February.
Also in February: Sally Hansen Nail Rehab ($8.95), a sheer pink protective treatment with optical brighteners and ridge-filling properties. Conditioning ingredients include jasmine, rose and Vitamin E extracts. Sally Hansen Cuticle Rehab ($8.95) contains the same extracts in a gel formula. It's also dosed with Vitamin E and other cuticle conditioners.
