The Happy Hearts Fund was established in 2006 by model Petra Nemcova to build and rebuild schools in post-natural disaster areas. (If you remember, Nemcova was seriously injured in Thailand in the 2004 tsunami that tragically claimed hundreds of thousands of lives, including her fiancé's.) Last year, the Clinique Happy Heart program began in support of Nemcova's charity. The partnership has so far yielded $250,000 and the post-Super Storm Sandy reconstruction of a computer center in Staten Island, New York.
This year's limited Happy Hearts Fund gifts, Clinique Happy Heart Perfume (a bright fruity floral; $42) and Clinique Happy Heart A Different Nail Enamel for Sensitive Skins (a cheery coral-red; $14) are available now. A portion of each sale -- $10 from the fragrance and $3 from the nail polish -- goes toward the charity.
