Press Preview: Revlon Nail Art Neon Polish
This may be one of the most colourful posts ever on Beautygeeks. It's thanks to Revlon, who is releasing a whack of new limited-edition polish duos in a wide range of cheerful colours this summer.
Here's some of the fun stuff created by Revlon Nail Expert Leeanne Colley with the new releases.
Let's start with Revlon Nail Art Neon ($8.95 each). You got a preview here a couple of weeks back.
Revlon Nail Art Neon shades all come with an exuberant colour on one end; the other is a creamy white primer base to make the neon pop.
The eight shades include Electric Blue, Ultra Violet, Pink Glow, Hot Hue (red orange), Neon Light (yellow), Groovy Green, Fuchsia Shock and High Voltage (yellow orange).
Revlon Nail Art Neon hits drugstores and mass retailers in July.
Hot tips from Leeanne: work quickly. Apply the primer base in three strokes -- side, other side, middle -- and don't worry about slight streaking. Give the base a minute to set, then apply the colour in three strokes as well. Again, don't worry about streaking; you'll fix it with the second three-stroke application of colour.
Neon polish dries matte. Finish with topcoat for added durability as well as brightness.
Lipstick Powder n Paint’s Lesley Ellen Mirza was spotted by Tips Nail Bar’s Melissa Forrest.

Neon is one of four limited-edition duo collections from Revlon this summer; one is eight more Break-Up shades to add to the first eight Break-Ups already on shelves.
Can you dig it?
