SuperGoop! I thought when I saw Gwynnie in her sleek, caped Tom Ford number last night. Of course, mine was not the only superhero-Gwyneth Paltrow reference on the Twitter last night, but despite that, overall consensus agreed her cape and dress combination was smashing. And to complement its sophisticated yet simple lines, and to ensure the actress glowed in all that white, pro artist Leslie Lopez worked mostly with Nars makeup. She called the look "elegantly bronzed."

On skin, Lopez used Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer; she applied it to Paltrow's neck, décolleté and shoulders, too.

On eyes, she used the champagne shade in the Nars Alhambra Duo Eyeshadow, and a Maybelline New York brown liquid liner along the lashlines. She defined Paltrow's lashes with Nars Larger Than Life Volumizing Mascara.

On cheeks she dabbed Nars Super Orgasm Illuminator, just on the apples.

On lips, Lopez used Nars Larger Than Life Lip Gloss in Odalisque.

I really liked Paltrow's makeup, although it's not a new look for her. But what do you think? Did she play it too safe? And her smooth, soft ponytail -- like?
