The Louboutin Mani: What Adele Wore on her Nails at the 2012 Grammy Awards

Adele's Louboutin mani

Multiple-Grammy winner Adele sported a seriously cool manicure last night as she cleaned up awards-wise. Dubbed the Louboutin mani -- it matched the star's glittery Louboutin shoes -- it was done by Mike Pocock, creative director for Ciaté Paint Pots nail polish.

The top shade was Ciaté Paint Pots in Jewel ($14). The underside was painted in Ciaté Paint Pots in Mistress, which isn't yet available in Canada. If you can't wait for it to land, apparently the closest Ciaté shade we can get this side of the pond is Boudoir ($14).

I'm not familiar with Ciaté, but a glance at the official website tells me I need Speed Dial. And maybe Mojito. Okay, and maybe Knickerbockerglory, too, for the name as well as the shade.

Fun fact: I happened to catch part of "Covert Affairs" on Showcase last night -- the part where the characters discuss toluene (an ingredient now absent from most nail polish), and how it's a component in bombs. See what you can learn from the teevee?

Have you tried Ciaté Paint Pots? Are you going to try the Louboutin mani?

Ciaté is available in Canada via ebeauty.ca.
