Lipstick Diary: What I Wore That Day

A stray from my slight citrus obsession, this pink-violet lipstick is a touch sheer, which makes it more easily wearable for a range of skintones. (You know sheer does that, right?)

Moisturizing, with good staying power, this is Estee Lauder Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick in Wild Violet, $32. It does not make me look like Liu Wen. But it did net me a compliment about my smile, from a tall, handsome French waiter as I left a Paris café.
