Lipstick Diary: What I Wore That Day
Thought I'd start with a different mug today. This one, at a café called Au Vieux Columbier on Rue de Rennes, contains the best café crème I've had in Paris so far (at most places the café crème has been either bitter or watery or both).
Again I must comment: I've been here since last Saturday morning and have seen perhaps one person wearing red lipstick, and not a single other in the fuchsia and tangerine with which we Canadian beautygeeks are currently obsessed. Of course, I've spent much of the time on the other side of your screen -- could be I need to do more people watching. And really, how many non-beautygeeks have we spotted in such shades in Toronto?
Speaking of tangerine, this is Clarins Rouge Prodige Lipstick in #118 Clementine, $26.
Clarins is available at Shoppers Beauty Boutiques, Murale and select department stores. Photos via Fujifilm Finepix F300EXR; unreal skin courtesy of the Portrait Enhancer setting.
