Lipstick Diary: What I Wore That Day
Putting this one aside so I can try other lipsticks is tricky because I like it so much. It's a hit from a brand I appreciate for its waterproof eye pencils, wearable eye shadow formulas (the neutral quads are great), five-shade corrector pots, and Base Miracle, one of the first foundation primers on the market (although too silicone-y for my skin). Creamy, highly pigmented and super comfortable to wear, this gloss-pencil hybrid is Lise Watier Lip Kiss Crayon Gloss in Passion Fuchsia, $18.
While the Lip Kiss Crayon Gloss shade range and textures (which include a softer pink and a metallic bronze) are more opaque and mainstream than those from The Lipstick Queen, Passion Fuchsia is a good Chinatown Glossy Pencil alternative, and more accessible too. Tip: refrigerate before sharpening.
Thanks for the reminder about this, Michelle!
Update: FASHION Magazine Beauty Editor Lesa Hannah loves lip crayons too.
