I'm still marvelling at the insane artistry and craftsmanship of the designers who took part in this year's White Cashmere Collection runway show. The photos on the official website are gorgeous, so I had to share a few -- you know, in case you didn't, er, have time to click over from my initial if I were post.
Vancouver designer and former "Project Runway Canada" contestant Carlie Wong makes such pretty frocks (that's hers, above). If I were skinny....
Sunny Fong, last season's "Project Runway Canada" winner, is a genius with a corset-bodice gown, even in bathroom tissue (above).
And Toronto-based jewelry designer Dandi Maestre makes the most fabulous one-of-a-kind, statement jewelry. Don't have to be skinny to wear it.
I also love the hair and makeup in these shots -- hey Cashmere folks, who did it?
All the images on Cashmere.ca are stunning; go look. Plus, there's some contest about Paris or someplace, if you're into that kind of thing. No big deal. Nope. (Don't even bother with that contest thing. Seriously. Forget I mentioned it.)
