Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara ($14.95 CAN) builds on the lengthening primer base + mascara L'Oréal launched several years back with their original Double Extend. The difference here is a more conditioning primer plus a water-resistant gel-polymer mascara formula that resists smearing, smudging and flaking, yet slides off your lashes like litle tubes when you use warm water.
While I haven't tried it yet -- am still testing another -- I've noticed on other people that one needs to be thorough when applying the mascara coat, or the white primer shows through.
Eddie Maleterre, official makeup artist for L'Oréal Paris and artistic director for L'Oréal Fashion Week, has declared Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara his favourite new product and the official mascara of the week.
