So you're in your early 30s and wondering whether it's time to switch your skincare from what you've used over the last decade? You blessedly haven't noticed any fine lines or other clear signs of premature aging (if you ask me, aging is always premature), but something's... different? Your complexion's looking a little... sleepy?

Maybe it's a Monday thing. But if you're still using the same skincare routine from your early 20s, then yeah, it's also time to wake things up, especially if you're starting to notice small changes in your skin.

Biotherm Multi Recharge SPF 15 promises relief for fatigued skin. Formulated with antioxidants Vitamin C and E, thermal plankton, hyaluronic acid, amino acids, ginseng extracts and sunscreen, Multi Recharge ($47) offers itself as a protective wakey-wakey for skin that needs a little pep to look its usual healthy self. It's a new favourite of my sister-in-law, Pam, who's in her mid-30s and has skin that tends toward dryness.

"It feels rich without being too thick," Pam says of the silky, gel-cream texture. "My skin absorbed it quickly and felt soft and refreshed, never sticky. And I love the fresh, mood-lifting scent -- it was like a little aromatherapy every time I put it on." Actually, she mentioned the I-love-it-too fragrance more than once. *grin*

Fyi, I've been waiting for ages for Pam's evaluation of Multi Recharge. Although she did say several times on different occasions that she really likes it, turns out she actually just finished the jar. With twice daily applications, Multi Recharge lasted her about four months, so a little goes a long way -- a pocketbook bonus.

And we all know good value is a terrific perk-me-up, too.
