When I popped backstage to chat with the L’Oréal beauty team at Toronto’s recent LG Fashion Week, one cosmetic popped up in almost every look makeup director Eddie Maleterre and I discussed: the L’Oréal Wear Infinity Matte Eye Shadow Quad in 814 Earthscape ($10.95 CAN) was the hardest-working item in his kit.

I’d hoped to return from an outta-town jaunt in time to catch the Pink Tartan and Joe Fresh shows in particular at Toronto’s LG Fashion Week Spring 2010 shows — *FAIL.* Comfort came with the certainty that I’d see what I missed on fashionmagazine.com; I’d enjoyed editor Jennifer Campbell’s coverage last year.
