Hallo, fellow nail nerdies! It’s a beautiful day to wander around The Archives and see what pops out!
Today, OPI Por Favor from the Mexico collection 2006. This is a fast three coats of one of the last black label OPI shades made. She’s a solid 10 years old, goes on like buttah, has an amazing shimmery-sheen, and dries lightning fast.
I had an awesome idea when I was playing with this. You know how you’ve got polishes in your stash that you love and forgot about because you never see them? Well let’s pull ‘em out and use ‘em!
How about whenever we have that urge to wear an oldie, we slap it on, take a pic, and fire the shot up to Instagram with the hashtag #WanderingTheArchives? Then our little community of polish junkies can all have a look at what smashing oldie the other is wearing!
It might just be me who has this strange attraction to old bottles of polish, but if it’s not, then I’d surely love to see what happens when you go #WanderingTheArchives. Add that hashtag and tag me if you post sumthin’? And be sure to add the name of the polish and the year (if you remember what it was). I’m @Manigeek – and who knows… maybe you and your oldie will end up in a Beautygeeks post!
