cnd creative play nail polish swatches
CND Creative Play Mango About Town (above). Crème. It says it’s a crème but I think it’s more of a crelly. Oddly, I also think it pulls away a bit at the free edge so you’ll want to be sure to cap with this shade, k? Oh! And that’s two pretty, pretty orangey coral coats!
CND Creative Play Miss Purplelarity (above). Metallic. I’m so desperately in love with this shade. It’s the very first shade that I tried and from that first moment, it was nuthin’ but love for Creative Play. You can totally OCW this one, but this is two for maximum depth of colour.
CND Creative Play My Mo-Mint (above). Shimmer. Two coats of 100% visible shimmer. Can you even imagine what this would be if I’d added top coat? Gah! #GimmieThat!
CND Creative Play Navy Brat (above). Crème. Lookit that! It’s a navy blue that’s not black! And lookit that shine in two coats with no top. Mmm hmm. I know you wannit.
CND Creative Play Nocturne It Up (above). Multi-color Glitter. That’s one coat of the transparent black with glitter over Black + Forth. Wait for it…
CND Creative Play Nocturne It Up (above). The glitter bits pop rainbows in the sunlight! Fun fun fun!
CND Creative Play Nuttin’ To Wear (above). Crème. My notes here say “Two coats. Wait for level.” That means do two coats and when it looks lumpy and uneven, just wait and it’ll all come together for you. I hope.
CND Creative Play Oh! Flamingo (above). Crème. Two coats and it’s right smack in the middle of cotton candy and bubble gum. She’s a good pink. I like her.
CND Creative Play O-Live for the Moment (above). Metallic. The notes? “Two coats. Heart. Heart. Heart.”
CND Creative Play On a Dare (above). Crème. On the first coat, you’re going to think “whaaat?” ‘cause she looks like a berry jelly but when you get to the second coat, you’ll get right to the bottle shade. If you slap on a third coat, you’ll get a nice dark poppy red.
CND Creative Play Orange You Curious (above). Shimmer. The real shade comes out to play on the second coat, so don’t despair. You'll get to the bottle shade on the third coat. Is three too many? Nah, this shade is worth it!
CND Creative Play Orchid You Not (above). Crème. I’m gonna tell you straight up the first coat of this beauty goes on like junk and scares the crap out of you, but on the second, you get exactly what you see here: opaque, beauty, and slightly darker than it looks in the bottle.
CND Creative Play Peach of Mind (above). Crème. Two coats and wait for level – it’ll happen. She’s a super creamy summery coral, right?
CND Creative Play Peony Ride (above). Crème. I think this is more of a crelly so there are slight visible nail lines in the two coats I did here. Also, hopefully because of the magic of internets compression, you can’t see the fuzzy bit stuck on my index finger (oopsie!).
CND Creative Play Persimmon-ality (above). Shimmer. Unnnhhh… two coats of firey hot orangey redness. #GimmieThat.
CND Creative Play Pinkidescent (above). Transformer. That's two coats and you can see it's pretty sheer, and maybe pretty shifty? Hmm... I wonder how we can see if she's got a good shift...
CND Creative Play Pinkidescent over Revlon Black Magic (above). Ta da! That's a single coat of Pinkidescent over my OCW! Revlon Black Magic.
CND Creative Play Pinkle Twinke over Peach of Mind (above). Holographic Glitter. She’ll pop you some pretty rainbows in direct sunlight and that’s swell, right? She flashes pink, fuchsia, and blue really nicely too.
CND Creative Play Pinkle Twinkle over Bubba Glam (above). I made such a pretty sparkle! I likes one coat of that over one coat of this. I really do.
CND Creative Play Polish My Act (above). Metallic. OCW!!! That’s one coat and it’s a matte-ish pewtery bluey-silvery finish that requires top coat for shine. But I didn’t top coat. Nope.
CND Creative Play Poppin’ Bubbly (above). Metallic. Unlike Polish My Act, this is definitely not matte and it’s definitely frosty. That’s two coats, I still have VNL (visible nail lines), and the streaks don’t dry all the way down.
CND Creative Play Positively Plumsy (above). Micro Glitter. That’s three coats of a somewhat-sheer buildable glitter with a satin finish. What’s really weird here is that I used top coat on top of those three. I know, you’re shocked. It needs top coat. Trust.
CND Creative Play Raisin’ Eyebrows (above). Shimmer. That’s two coats and it’s got this awesome super-fine stealth shimmer in it that just makes me smile like a dork.
And oh! Oh! Look what came in!! It's I Blanked Out (above) and I've shown you one coat because sometimes it's nice to see if a single coat will do as undies for other things.
CND Creative Play I Blanked Out (above). Crème. There she is in two coats and I gotta say that's a pretty decent white. In one coat, it's even enough to be used as undies. In two, it's a little streaky and doesn't level perfectly, but you could totally squeak it by as a stand-alone mani.
And there y’are friends! Yet another whack of swatches that I hope didn’t make you go blind.
