I've never been so happy with a decision to use something beautiful rather than archive it. I've gone on and on about the limited edition Chanel Lumière d'Eté Illuminating Powder ($76 CAN; $65 US), the star item in the Méditerranée Collection for Summer 2015; it's stunning. Looks dark in the compact, but in real life it is an incredibly smooth and sheer golden bronze that lends even the palest skin an expensive vacation glow. I'm wearing Lumière d'Eté in this swatch post. (I'm wearing it daily, actually!) The texture is amazing too, creamy, not powdery. Love.
I may have to buy a second one, pronto. And by pronto, I mean asap because the Chanel Lumière d'Eté Illuminating Powder is available online now at neimanmarcus.com.
I get the impression that although neimanmarcus.com ships to Canada, the beauty department isn't accessible to Canadians. But no matter -- Nordstrom's beauty department is, and they have Chanel Lumière d'Eté available now too. Plus the collection hits retailers everywhere on May 4th so you can book a play date at the counter.
