Nicole by OPI 2015 is starting with a big, fat bang. In January, 11 new shades will be added to the core lineup and they’re all pretty sweet. Most of the formulas are solid and the shades cover late winter through spring so they run the gamut. Gamut is a fun word, ain’t it?
With a product as consistent as this Nicole by OPI, I don’t have much to say so I guess we can just look now, huh?
Unless otherwise noted, that’s all two coats of great polish that has good pigment, good brushes, good level, good coverage and dumb-shaped bottles.
Yep, I said that - bottles shaped like dumb. Do I have a reason other than aesthetics to dislike the bottle? You betcha I do. When my Nicole by OPI bottles get to less than about 1/3, the brush doesn’t reach into the polish anymore.
Because the bulk of the polish sits in that wide-ass base, I have to keep tipping the bottle to get the stuff onto the brush and out onto my nails. Aggravating. We won’t even begin to talk about storage and how much space they take up. No, let’s not go there.
But, having said all that, I will also say I have many, many of bottles of Nicole by OPI in The Archives.
I love the general playfulness of their shades – a lot. You? Your thoughts on this collection, the Nicole by OPI line, and the bottles, please! You know I wanna hear it all!
Oh! Oh! A handful of weeks ago I had a pretty decent break in a couple nails 'n to save my length, I slapped on some of this magic Gelish. Two coats of Foundation, one coat of Top it Off.
I sorta fell into The Love with it. My nails have never looked better nor have they ever felt stronger. I can almost use them as tools! (Not to worry, Leeanne, I would never!) Under all this Nicole by OPI, I'm sporting a clear Gelish mani. In fact under all manis after this, I'm sporting a clear Gelish mani. It's my new best base coat ever.
And as always, I gotta tell you where to get it and how much it costs, right? Well, the 11 new nail lacquers will be available in stores beginning January 2015 for $10.99 each at select Shoppers Drug Mart, Loblaws, London Drug, Jean Coutu, Target, Walmart and Rexall locations.
