Who doesn’t love a red-carpet compare-and-contrast? At the 2011 Emmys, we turned a critical eye on Julianna Margulies, Kaley Cuoco and Julie Bowen. Let’s see how those three did Sunday at the 2013 Golden Globes.
Julianna Margulies: I actually gasped, but in a good way this time (although her ultra-sleek — flat-ironed — ponytail was somewhat suspect). Girlfriend’s back was our vote for most-worthy-of-its-own-Twitter-account this season so far.
Kaley Cuoco: Gasped. Bad way. Goth much?
Julie Bowen: Damn girl! It’s no mermaid gown, but it’s a hot colour appropriate to the situation. I think that’s all she can really hope for when her co-star is Sofia Vegara.
Wait. Is that a stain on Julie’s dress just below her left shoulder? And a snag in her skirt? Uh oh. (click on photo to enlarge)

Guess Julie Bowen can’t catch a break!
I liked Kaley’s dress but agreed, makeup doesn’t suit the overall look or her for that matter.
Kinda makes me wonder what Julie was getting up to in that dress! As for Kaley’s gown, perhaps on someone with narrower shoulders — it didn’t suit her frame any more than the makeup suited her face :-(
