I just can’t resist pink-cheeked beauty. I’m not sure about the princess-pink lipstick, but it’s exactly right for the look makeup artist Molly Stern was going for on perky Julianne Hough: “Rockabilly Princess.”
(Fun fact: Molly Stern was the CoverGirl makeup pro for the US from 2006 to 2010 — she’s in this photo with Ellen before the star’s first commercial for P&G, when the first beauty campaign was a mystery.)
Julianne’s look is a little bit country — new country, I mean, with strong defined brows darker than her blonde hair, intense liner and sweet pink lipstick. And pink cheeks. Here’s the lineup of makeup Molly Stern used:
Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation
Lancôme Star Bronzer
Lancôme Blush in Love in Pêche Joue-Joue (from the Spring 2013 collection)
Lancôme Color Design Infinité 24H Eye Shadow in Forever Noir
Lancôme Liner Design Gel EyeLiner in Black Fishnets
Lancôme Hypnôse Star Mascara
Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil
Lancôme Le Lipstique in Sheer Natural
Lancôme Rouge in Love in Roses in Love
I’d like to see Julianne with brows closer in colour to her hair. Hmmm. She has insanely gorgeous eyes, right?
Is this a look you’d wear? Or would you prefer makeup with more edge?
