Not everyone loved Rose Byrne’s shiny bob at the SAG Awards, but her makeup was a hit. Those dewy cheeks — they’re courtesy of Joe Fresh Beauty and expat makeup artist Hung Vanngo, whose work appeared often in Canada’s top fashion and beauty mags before he went off to America.
Here’s the lowdown on the Joe Fresh makeup Hung used:
On Rose’s skin:
Joe Fresh tinted moisturizer in Bisque (in stores this March); Duo Concealer in Light; and Translucent Loose Powder (also March).
On cheeks:
Joe Fresh Cream Blush in Rose and in Rosette, and highlights from the Limited Edition Highlighter Quad.
On eyes:
Joe Fresh Cream Eyeshadow in Cactus and in Playa, eyeliner in Charcoal, and Joe Fresh Lash Plump Volumizing Mascara in Black.
On lips:
Joe Fresh lipliner in Cinnamon and lipgloss in Chai.
What did you think of Rose’s hair and makeup?

I knew that blush was a Joe Fresh cream blush! [I have many of them!]
Yup. Hate the suburban mom bob.
Makeup=cool. Love the dewey cheeks.
Bob is old. She would look so much better in a pixie of some kind!
I’d have liked a sharper line on her bob — it was also by a Canadian now in the US: celeb stylist Harry Josh, who is an expert with John Frieda.
