Rachel Weisz is taller than I thought, and has the most incredible cheekbones. And she pulls off the strong brows, smoky eyes + glossy red lips look without looking overdone (remember that Robert Palmer "Addicted to Love" video from the '80s?). How? Her overall eye makeup is neutral -- all the intensity is the dark smudged colour along her upper and lower lashes.

Get the look with: L'Oréal Paris Color Infallible eyeshadows in Hourglass Beige and Endless Chocolate ($10.99 each); HiP High Intensity Pigments Color Truth cream liner in Eggplant ($10.99); Infallible Never Fail Eyeliner in Carbon Black ($10.49); Voluminous Million Lashes in Carbon Black ($10.99); Infallible Le Rouge in Ravishing Red ($12.99); and Colour Riche Le Gloss in Red Ravishing ($10.99).

On the TIFF 2011 red carpet for The Deep Blue Sea, director Terence Davies told us that passion and love transformed Rachel's character. So we asked male lead Tom Hiddleston and leading lady Rachel (who is a L'Oréal Paris ambassador) how passion influences beauty. UPDATE: The video has been removed from the L'Oreal Paris YouTube channel; Rachel isn't an ambassador any longer, I guess.

How do you think passion influences beauty? Is Rachel's look one you would wear?
