Video Lesson: The Emma-Watson-Inspired Black + Gold Smoky Eye

by Janine on 20 August 2011 · 6 comments

The look is less theatrical than Emma Watson’s gold-leaf smoky eye, and you don’t have to mess with gold leaf, but it’s still edgy and dramatic. In the vid below, Brit-based MAC senior artist Cher Webb demonstrates the black-and-gold smoky eye step-by-step for InStyle.co.uk.

The eye makeup includes:

M·A·C Paint Pot in Blackground
M·A·C Eye Kohl Pencil in Tarnish or Smolder
M·A·C Old Gold Pigment
M·A·C PRO Water Mixing Medium
M·A·C Eyeshadow in Concrete
M·A·C False Lashes  Mascara
M·A·C False Lashes

Get the rest of the makeup list here.

Will you try this smoky eye? Are you more likely to wear this eye makeup than you are to copy Emma Watson’s HP-premiere look?

I think i would use the gold leaf to get Emma’s look exactly, but this is a nice toned down version. xx
