I’m not great at math, but I’m pretty sure that Jessica Stam and Covergirl Global Creative Director Pat McGrath add up to gorgeous beauty videos we’ll want to watch. Over the past couple of days, the pair has been working on a New York Fashion Week-related collaboration, including how-tos expected to go live in the next few weeks.
Stam, of course, is our Canadian connection. She spent her high school years at Sacred Heart high school in Walkerton, ON, and has appeared in campaigns for Dior, Marc Jacobs, Lanvin, Cavalli, Armani, and many others. She’s also slowly been adding to her fashion-design resumé via work with labels such as Rag & Bone and Rachel Rachel Roy, for whom she created a four-piece collection last Fall.
Pat McGrath is one of the world’s top influential makeup artists. She sets beauty trends each season backstage for the likes of Valentino, Dior, YSL, Anna Sui, Dolce & Gabbana and more; her work’s been in every major fashion and beauty mag, and in ads for Prada, Balenciaga, Calvin Klein, Lavin and so on; and her celeb clients include Jennifer Aniston, Madonna and JLo.

I like to know particular product suggestions instead of generic “black eyeliner” or “copper shadow” … there’s just too much put there to not get the specifics! xo
Nice close-ups and good lighting! So you cans see exactly where they’re putting what.
Do you need to see every move of the application, or just a few so you get the idea? And high def?
For me, I don’t need to see every move , just where they start.
For me, I’ll appreciate it if they show every move of the application especially on eye makeup! :)
